Are Gamers taking over the Music?
It has come to my attention over the past several weeks that the young gamers community (ages 9-13) are turning off their radios across america! I've talked with several of the up and coming gamers, and almost every one of them was able to identify every band and song from their fav. 5 games. If fact, they knew more game play bands than they knew top 20! Is this odd? Am I going krazy(er)? Or is it that the future of music is once again shifting? It's no stretch to imagine this once you look at young people's trends. They prefer the soundtracts to their fav. TV shows over the top pop charts hands down. Merch. for movies like hanna montana, the jonas brothers, justin bebier, and several other popular disney singers is already comparable to the top 20 charts in sales. As this generation of gamers grow up, and their musical influences influence the charts, I'd be willing to put my stock in these game developers choice for musical talent. What do you think?

UPDATE
update: turns out that these polls are only reflected in mid-high mid class homes. The gammers pop culture only affects the mid range kids. I guess the lower class can't afford the games, and upper class has better toys
